Dr. Rosenberg is an board-certified and fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon with advanced specialized training in surgical and nonsurgical care of the spine. Neck, back and spine related pain can be extremely disabling. Neck and back pain can be successfully managed without surgery. Dr. Rosenberg believes in a patient centered approach where he presents all of the options with the risks and benefits of a nonoperative strategy along with a surgical approach. Both the patient and Dr. Rosenberg decide together on the management of the patient.

Dr. Rosenberg is from the metro Detroit area where he was an All-State baseball player in high school. He continued his education as a student athlete at The Johns Hopkins University studying biomedical engineering and computer science. At university he was involved with research for spine surgery navigation systems. After graduating he worked as a computer programmer while doing research in the field of medical imaging. After medical school he continued on to follow his childhood passion of athletics by entering a residency program in orthopaedic surgery at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Early in residency he realized his passion for spine surgery. He was able to arrange rotations with international experts at Beaumont Hospital, Johns Hopkins University, and The University of Toronto where he learned spine surgery from many different perspectives. He completed his training with additional fellowship training in spinal surgery at the internationally renowned and sought-after University of Toronto Spine Program.

Dr. Rosenberg stays up to date by attending several conferences, reading journals, and discussing with peers. He has written articles and has presented at multiple orthopaedic platforms in topics such as intervertebral disc regeneration. He loves technology and paired with his engineering background he uses new proven advances in the spine surgery field to perform surgery in the most advanced and safest way he is able in order to optimize patient outcomes. He performs total disc replacements rather than fusions when appropriate. He uses minimally invasive treatments such as OLIF and LLIF as indicated.

Dr. Rosenberg stays active and enjoys watching and competing in all sports. He is an avid golfer and has considered joining long drive competitions. He is an avid Detroit sports fan of the Tigers, Lions, and Pistons. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kids.
